!Kheis Municipality hereby invites Tenderers for the Upgrading of Internal Streets in Sternham.
One complete set of documents will be available from !Kheis Municipality, 97OranjeStreet, Groblershoop, 8850 (Tel: 054833-9500; Fax: 054833-0690) upon payment of an amount of
R 370.00 (ThreeHundred and Seventy Rand and Zero Cents), which is non-refundable. Cash payments or cheques must be paid to !Kheis Municipality. Tender documents will be available from the Consulting Engineers, Thomason Consulting, 5 Magaliesberg Avenue, Carters Glen, Kimberley, 8300 (Cell. 082 909-8407; Fax 086 260-3743), at the compulsory site meeting. Interested tenderers must book a document from !Kheis Municipality from Monday 26 May 2014 at 09:00.

must be addressed to the Municipal Manager and placed in the Tender Box at the Municipal Building in Groblershoop or posted to the Municipal Manager, !KheisMunicipality, Private BagX2, Groblershoop, 8850 to be received at the mentioned addresses not later than 12:00 on Friday, 20June2014which Tenders will be opened in public the same day in the offices of the Municipality.
A compulsory site inspection will be held onThursday, 29May2014. The Engineer will be present and any questions will then be answered. NO further visits to the site will take place. Persons taking interest will gather at the offices of theMunicipal Building in Groblershoop at10:00. Tenderers, who do not attend the compulsory site inspection, will expose their Tenders to rejection.
Only those Tenderers who are registered with the CIDB, or those eligible for registration within 10 working days after the closing date of submission of Tenders with a contractor grading designation equal or higher than a contractor grading of 5 CE class for construction work will be eligible to submit a Tender. Tenderers are encouraged to uplift local small and medium enterprises by means of sub-contracting and joint ventures.
The !Kheis Municipality reserves the right to accept a part of a Tender and does not bind itself to accept the lowest and/or any Tender. Their Tenders must bind Tenderers for a period of 90 (ninety) days from the date on which Tenders are due. No Tenders or copies of Tenders received by facsimile machine, electronic mail or per telegram will be considered. Tenderers attempting to influence the Client with regard to the awarding of the Tender, after Tender closure, will automatically expose their Tenders to rejection.
